Lake Garda enjoys a particularly mild climate all over the year. This peculiarity, due to the thermic effect produced by its huge mass of water, has allowed the growth of typically Mediterranean plants such as olives, cedars, laurels, palms and exotic species which do not appear in other areas of the Po valley.
